SCM Timisoara was defeated by the Poles from MKS Dabrowa Gornicza, with a score of 90-88 (22-21, 24-21, 20-20, 24-26), on Wednesday evening, in Kapfenberg (Austria), in the final of the competition men's basketball Alpe Adria Cup, writes Agerpres.

With 12 seconds before the end of the match, SCM Timișoara was leading with a score of 88-87, but Igor Kesar made a technical foul and the champions received a free throw, converted by Marc Garcia, and the possession was fruitful by Tayler Persons, with a last-second two-pointer.

MKS Dabrowa Gornicza gets the trophy for the second consecutive season on this occasion.

Igor Kesar, with 24 points and 6 rebounds, and Luka Mitrovic, 23 p, 3 rec, 7 assists, were the best from SCM Timisoara. Nikola Gajic, 14 p, 6 rec, Adam Mirkovic, 11 p, 3 rec, also had a notable presence.
