PNL can no longer be a party closed in backstage games or old reflexes, says the liberal Sebastian Burduja, former Minister of Energy, who emphasized on Saturday, June 20 “Meritocracy” should be the order word.

“Today, at the National Council of the National Liberal Party, we talked less about internal elections, the famous” festival of democracy “and much more about the truth. We live in hard times. People are tired of beautiful words and promises that are not fulfilled. Trust in the political world is at a minimum level, and we have to put it as a minimum. Solidarity and hope ”, wrote the Liberal in a Facebook post.
“Romania starts with good parties”
Burduja speaks of a moment of collective sincerity at CPNL’s national over:
“In the face of this reality, PNL can no longer be a party closed in backstage games or old reflexes. We must truly become a place of honest, competent people who have demonstrated something through work and results. The word of order must be meritocracy. In democracy, Romania starts with parties. Collective.ă ”.
Young people look at the public scene, the former minister notes.
“We talked about good rules that create correct behaviors, and the need to encourage real performance. About the courage to bring new, professional people, and about our obligation to create an environment in which the competence is respected. For me, as part of a new generation, this is essential. Young people are already watching with distrust of the public arena and they are rightly asking us if it is worth getting involved. If we do not change the way we work deeply – if we do not put the truth and the results before the small games – we risk losing not only votes for the National Liberal Party, but the future of our country ”, says the Liberal.
“Ilie Bolojan is a leader who tells the truth. PNL has a historical chance”
Sebastian Burduja emphasizes that “The next years are decisive”
“I.Lie Bolojan because he has shown to be able to administer public affairs correctly, simple and efficient. He is a leader who tells the truth, even when it hurts, and respects public money and work. The future of PNL will not be decided by beautiful polls or speeches. It will be determined by our power to deliver real results, the courage to say things by name and ability to attract and keep valuable people with. Today, more than ever, PNL has a historical chance. A chance to show that it can be the party of true reform again, with roots in values and traditions, of those who do not flee, but also assume them. We stay here, we assume and build. Because the truth, character and results – these are the ones that will keep us up. ”Burduja concludes.
We recall that, on Friday, the former Minister of Energy, Sebastian Burduja, reacted to the accusations that he would tolerate incompatible energy chiefs (which is why the European Commission suspended the payment of PNRR) saying that these bosses are already revoked from office, and the law has already been amended.
