Three young people between the ages of 16 and 24 were detained after they took a 15-year-old girl, with a severe mental handicap, to an isolated area, where they had sexual relations with her.

The prosecutors of the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism – Iasi Territorial Service ordered the detention of 3 defendants, aged 16, 20 and 24, investigated for rape of a minor and child pornography. Moreover, the 16-year-old teenager filmed the girl in explicit sexual poses and distributed the pornographic video to others.
“From the evidence administered, it emerged that, on 19.10.2025, the defendants led a minor victim (15 years old, classified as having a severe mental handicap) to an isolated area of a commune in Iaşi County, where they had acts and sexual relations with her, taking advantage of the victim’s mental and physical inability to defend herself. In this circumstance, the defendant 16 years old, using his personal mobile phone, filmed the minor in explicit sexual poses, later distributing the pornographic material thus produced in the online environment. The researches led to the finding that the other two defendants also had the video recording made by the 16-year-old defendant in their mobile phones.” transmitted DIICOT.
According to the investigators, during the searches of the defendants’ residences, evidence relevant to the case was discovered and seized.
On Friday, November 7, the judge of rights and liberties of the Iaşi Court was notified with the proposal of preventive arrest of the defendants, for 30 days.
