Sorana Cîrstea and Anna Kalinskaya qualified in the quarterfinals of the double test at Wimbledon on Sunday, July 6, after defeating Mirra Andreeva and Diana Shnaider.

The Romanian-Russian team was imposed in front of the 100% Russian couple formed by Mirra Andreeva and Diana Shanider with a score of 4-6, 7-6 (3), 6-1, at the end of a match that lasted two hours and 25 minutes of play, according to Eurosport.

The match has been interrupted several times because of the rain.

In the quarterfinals, Cîrstea and Kalinskaia will play in the company Favorite 4: Su-Wei/ Jelena Ostapenko (Taiwan/ Latvia).

On Wednesday, Gabriela Ruse and Ukrainian Marta Kostiuk won 6-4, 6-4 in front of the couple Anastasija Sevastova (Latvia)/Yanina Wickmayer (Belgium), in the first round.
