The Romanian tennis player Sorana Cîrstea lost in front of the Canadian player Marina Stakusic 6-1, 1-6, 6-4, Monday evening, in the first round of the Transylvania Open tournament (WTA 250), hosted by Barena in Cluj-Napoca.

Cîrstea (34 years, 64 WTA) was defeated after two hours and 14 minutes of playing a player from qualifications, according to Agerpres.
Each of the two athletes dominated a set one in turn, and in decisive Cîrstea had 3-1.
Stakusic (20 years old, 119 WTA) won three guts in a row and balanced the game. In the last jam, on his service, Cîrstea had 40-0, but lost five points in a row, the set and the match.
Also Monday and in the first round Gabriela Ruse lost, 2-6, 3-6 in front of Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina.
