Specialist doctors in polyclinics, under contract with the National Health Insurance House (CNAS), will receive more money for the services provided based on the referral ticket.

In the case of family doctors, the value of points per capita and per service will be maintained in the last three months of this year at the level of the first three quarters of the year. The point value per capita is 12 lei, and the point per service is 8 lei. These values constitute the basis for calculating the amounts due to family medicine offices for the services performed in contractual relations with health insurance companies.

For outpatient clinical specialty medicine offices, starting October 1, these points increase by 11%, respectively from 4.5 lei to 5 lei.

“Pin dental medicine, in the fourth quarter of 2024, the value of the indicative amount/specialist doctor/month is maintained at the same level as in the first three quarters of the year”it is stated in a CNAS press release.

Insureds who have lost their prescriptions or medicines in calamities will be able to get new ones

Another important change is that in emergency situations or in situations potentially generating emergency situations, a derogation from the general provisions of the Framework Contract applies. More precisely, people affected by these situations can benefit only once from another medical prescription for the period covered by the last prescription issued by the prescriber.

In this way, the continuity of the treatment of patients with chronic conditions is ensured, if the emergency caused the destruction of medical prescriptions or medicines picked up by patients from the pharmacy.
