The National Alliance of Student Organizations in Romania organizes the project Gala Professor Bologna through which the teachers appreciated by the students are awarded for the support and openness they show them and for the unique didactic activities.

Professor Bologna’s gala is, in fact, the only initiative through which the teachers from the Romanian higher education system are awarded. The title of Professor Bologna is granted exclusively by the students, following a process carried out on several stages throughout March and April.
The first stage of the project consists in the nomination of the teachers appreciated by the students. The second stage is that of the evaluations itself. Thus, the nominated teachers will be evaluated by evaluator students specially prepared by the national alliance of student organizations in Romania to identify those teachers who practice a student -centered education.
The project is concluded by organizing the actual gala, which will take place in Timisoara, in the first part of May.
“Since 2007, ANOSR grants the distinction of Professor Bologna (or strong prof, as we like to call) the teachers who inspire the students, putting them in the center of teaching activity. On respect, joviality and professionalism in the relationship with the students ”, is shown in a statement sent by ANOSR.
