UTA Arad defeated FC Botoşani with a score of 1-0 (1-0), on Friday, at home, in a match from the third stage of the play-out phase of the Superleague football.

The goal was scored in the 37th minute by Ibrahima Conte, with a header at a corner, goalkeeper Răzvan Ducan having a delayed reaction. It was the first success in the Super League for Conte, defender from Guinea, writes Agerpres.
UTA had great opportunities through Luckassen (41st minute), Cristi Mihai (66th) and Fabry (81st). FC Botoşani was very dangerous through Enzo Lopez, in the 31st (bar) and 55th minutes, Zoran Mitrov (53) and Victor Dican (80).
The Arada team has two wins and a tie in the play-out.
After the victory, UTA is the leader in the play-out, with 27 points, two points more than U Cluj, which has played one less match. FC Botoşani, with 14 points, remains in last place.
