The incident took place on September 24, on the Attiki Odos highway, according to the reports of the mundodeportivo.com website.
Tsitsipas’ lawyer, Thanasis Papathanasiou, however, stated that the tennis player was not behind the wheel at the time. The car was apparently borrowed and Tsitsipas was sitting in the passenger seat while someone else was driving.
“The issue of the fine and the presentation of the license has already been resolved!”the lawyer said.
