Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce donated $26 million to at least 20 charities this week, a representative for the charity announced, ahead of their rumored wedding this weekend in New York.
The two have yet to officially confirm that they’re getting married, and the charity announcement itself doesn’t mention the event, although it’s clear the donations are part of this week’s festivities, writes Variety.
Among the 20 recipient organizations are nine food banks, an animal welfare association, seven educational programs and three children’s hospitals.
Swift has a rich history of substantial donations, although in most cases these have been disclosed directly by the receiving organizations and not by the artist. During her historic Eras Tour, local food banks revealed that they received financial support from the singer when her shows came to their cities.
While Swift’s team has yet to offer any official confirmation, reports of a lavish wedding at Madison Square Garden this weekend have been confirmed by officials and staff at the venue.
According to them, the rehearsal dinner will take place on Thursday, in a smaller hall of the complex, followed on Friday by a party of much larger proportions, right in the main arena. The two, who began dating in 2023 and announced their engagement in 2025, have largely kept their wedding plans out of the public eye.

The reaction of charities
For many non-profits, these donations came as a complete surprise. City Harvest, New York’s largest food rescue organization, thanked the two on Instagram, writing: “It’s a love story that nurtures good” (pun referring to her play, “Love Story”), according to Business Insider.
The organization previously said that due to the Trump administration’s budget cuts to the federal SNAP nutrition assistance program, it aims to deliver more than 45 million kilograms (100 million pounds) of food to New Yorkers.
In Kansas City, Harvesters — The Community Food Network announced in an Instagram post that the famous couple had donated $1 million.
“They both have incredibly big hearts and have been involved in supporting many charitable causes over the years, not just ours. We feel extremely fortunate that they make a conscious effort to invest in fighting hunger and in the wonderful community we call home: Kansas City!”
