Just two weeks before the beginning of a new school year, on Tuesday, August 26, the Ministry of Education and Research announced that the employees of the education system will also benefit this year of holiday vouchers, through a recent signed minister order, approving the regulation of these vouchers for 2025.
The order establishes that the vouchers are granted to employees whose net salaries do not exceed 8,000 lei, the calculation being related to the net salary related to the basic function in which they are granted.
The maximum value of a voucher is 800 lei, an amount that can cover at most 50% of the cost of a tourist package, which must have a minimum value of 1,600 lei.
The validity of the vouchers is one year from the date of the electronic support, and for the employees with an individual partial employment contract, the vouchers are granted in proportion to the work time, compared to the maximum value of the holiday vouchers, respectively 800 lei, established for the normal working program, the statement states.
