After lifting a ice rink in Otopeni, Ion Țiriac began to build in the city near Bucharest and an Olympic basin. Both are intended for children and juniors, but the 85 -year -old billionaire turns with a problem. Ion Tiriac says he has already invested 3.5-4 million euros in the Olympic basin and that its completion will climb the amount to about 7.5 million euros. At the end of the project, the businessman wants to give him to administer someone, but he was still refused was that there is no money for his maintenance.

Raises a modern sports complex

In addition to the two projects, Ion Tiriac is planning to do in Otopeni the most modern sports complex in Romania: a hotel for athletes, a gym, a tennis arena with training fields, a kindergarten with a sports profile, a multipurpose room, football training and residential buildings, their cost being estimated at 150 million euros. Tiriac City would have been located near the “Henry Coandă” International Airport, where the businessman has already built the covered ice rink.
