FCSB ended 2025 in a surprising position for fans: 9th place in the Superliga, with 31 points, thus missing access to the play-offs. It is an unexpected result for the overall champion of Romania, who used to fight for the first places.
After the last stage played before the winter break, the team will go on vacation, and at the beginning of next year they will hold a training camp in Antalya. In addition to physical and tactical training, the management aims to strengthen the squad for the second part of the season.
FCSB have already made their first signing of the winter, bringing in centre-back Andre Duarte. At the same time, an agreement was reached with Hermannstadt for the transfer of Kevin Ciubotaru. Also on the list of reinforcements is Florinel Coman, who could return to FCSB on loan, provided his club in Saudi Arabia pays part of his wages.
