According to the Ministry of Education, over 33,600 candidates registered for the 2024 Baccalaureate exam, autumn session. Of these, almost two thirds (65.47%) are from the current promotion.
“According to the data provided by the county school inspectorates, of the total of those enrolled, over 22,000 candidates come from the 2024 class, while over 11,500 candidates from previous classes“, says the Ministry institution.
The communication assessment skills in Romanian, the oral test, will be held on Thursday, but also on Friday, August 9, a day also dedicated to the communication assessment skills in the mother tongue, the oral test.
Autumn Baccalaureate Calendar:
– August 8-9 – assessment of oral communication skills in Romanian;
– August 9 – assessment of oral communication skills in the mother tongue;
– August 12 – assessment of digital skills;
– August 13 – 14 assessment of language skills in an internationally spoken language.
-August 19 – written exam in Romanian Language and Literature – Ea exam);
-August 20 – mandatory profile test – Ec test),
– August 21 – the test for the choice of the profile and specialization – the Ed test).
-August 22 – test in Mother Language and Literature – test Eb).
– August 26 – the results of the written tests until 12.00. Those who are dissatisfied will be able to submit appeals between 12:00 and 18:00.
– August 27 and 29 – resolution of appeals
– August 30 – display of final results.
All exam rooms are equipped with functional video and audio surveillance cameras.
“Candidates are not allowed access to the exam rooms with textbooks, dictionaries, notes, notes, etc., which could be used to solve the subjects, nor with mobile phones or any electronic means of calculation/communication. Violation of the provisions regarding the introduction of prohibited materials into the examination rooms leads to the elimination of the candidate, regardless of whether the said materials were or were not used“, states the Ministry of Education.
A candidate is declared to have passed the national Baccalaureate exam if he simultaneously fulfills the following conditions: he took the skills assessment tests, he took all the written tests, he was graded with a minimum of 5 in each of them and, in the end, he obtained the slightly average 6.
