Candidates from national minorities at the first session of the baccalaureate exam take, from Wednesday to Friday, the evaluation test of the oral communication skills in the mother tongue, according to the calendar approved by the Ministry of Education.

The evaluation tests of the competences within the first session of the baccalaureate exam started on Monday with the evaluation of the oral communication skills in Romanian.
Between February 3 and 5, linguistic skills will be evaluated in a language of international circulation – sample C, and between February 5 and 7 will be evaluated digital skills – sample D.
The beneficiaries of some scholarships abroad who cannot participate in samples A, B, C and D from the National Baccalaureate exam – 2025, between January 27 and February 7, can take them between May 30 and June 4.
According to the calendar approved by the Ministry of Education, between June 2 and 6, the candidates for the written tests of the first exam session will take place.
The courses of the high school terminal classes will end on June 6.
The first written test – the one in the Romanian language and literature – will take place on June 10, and on June 11, the compulsory profile test will take place.
On June 13, the candidates will support the sample of choice of profile and specialization.
Students from national minorities will support on June 16 the written test in the mother tongue and literature.
On June 20, the results will be displayed on the written tests (until 12.00). Those who want to file appeals can visualize the works between 14.00 and 18.00, but also on June 23 and 24.
Minister of Education, Daniel David explains why he did not change the methodology
The Minister of Education, Daviel David, announced that he had not received notifications about “major issues” regarding the baccalaureate. The exam started on Monday, with the skills. “For now, at the ministry we have not received notifications regarding major problems. Things are running normally ”, said Daniel David. “The truth is that we all have to make an effort, it is a newer procedure with moving these competence evidence in January-February. So the things that will appear more problematic, we will correct them on the go. We all have to make this effort, for the sake of the students ”, added the minister.
The minister added that “new methodology” and efforts are made to be adequately implemented. “It was unrealistic to start, as a minister, to change such a methodology, when the process was already started, the children were registered on the lists, for the respective evidence they can do, and I have done it since I am a minister, I look And I take the feedback from the system and through various instructions I try to adapt things to implement the methodology ”, said Daniel David.
Asked if it is a better mechanism than the previous years, the Minister of Education said: “I do not know, the truth is that I am always guided by an evaluation of the evaluation type base. I will make an assessment, including not only from the prism of the satisfaction of those involved in this process, but from the prism of some results, and in May, when I have that detailed report, I will be able to say if it is a good idea and it can be continued or not. good idea and we will have to change it. “
