The file in which Bogdan Buta was accused of committing the crimes of sexual intercourse with a minor, attempted sexual intercourse with a minor and blackmail was closed by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Cluj-Napoca Court, writes gazetadecluj.ro.
According to the information provided by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Cluj-Napoca District Court to the Gazeta de Cluj publication, the criminal investigation was completed in less than a month after the referral to the judicial bodies, and the settlement solution was ordered two weeks ago, on February 23 2024.
“First of all, case no. 645/187/P/2024 as a result of the facts claimed by several minors against the named Buta Bogdan. Specifically, the judicial body established that the facts complained of by the injured persons are two crimes of sexual intercourse with a minor, attempted sexual intercourse with a minor and two crimes of blackmail. Currently, the criminal investigation has been completed, for which on 23.02.2024 a solution was ordered to close the case“, sent the representatives of the Public Prosecutor's Office attached to the Cluj-Napoca Court, at the request of the cited source.
Bogdan Buta recently retired from the executive functions of the company, in the context of the mentioned accusations.
Bogdan Buta's lawyers speak of a “media attack”
His decision was announced through his lawyers, and Buta stressed that he made the gesture out of respect for his team and to be able to devote his full time to trying to prove his innocence.
“We are convinced that justice will hold accountable those responsible for this media attack. We trust that following the proceedings, all the “accusations” will be proven to be untrue, and finally those responsible will answer for these serious false accusationsBogdan Buta's lawyers mentioned.
