The commissioners of the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) again checked a Chinese restaurant that they closed a few days ago and managed to enter a warehouse where they were refused.

The ANPC representatives announced on Saturday that the control teams made a control at the Kungfu King SRL operator in AFI Cotroceni, to verify the measures ordered on June 17, when the unit was temporarily closed.
On this occasion, the ANPC commissioners found that the economic operator did not declare the existence of a storage space for the commercial activity, although it was subjected to several checks.

The control teams found in the respective expired products, cockroaches, dirty walls and established that the space was used at the same time as a locker room, being found personal clothes and footwear with food.
At the same time, the refrigerated equipment had excessive ice accumulation, they were physically damaged, with worn and with traces of rust.
“These facts constitute not only violations of the norms regarding food safety and consumer protection, but also indicates a deliberate attempt to hide the non -compliance with the control authority.”, The quoted source said.
The restaurant was fined 10,000 lei. The ANPC commissioners decided that the restaurant will continue to be closed. It was also ordered to temporarily stop the storage space until the deficiencies are remedied.
