The county with unrefused scholarships, but the highest rate of unreparted students in high school. “Everyone will theoretically”

While the rate of candidates waiting for the second stage of high school is 2.98% at national level, in Constanța county it is more than 3 times higher. During this time, 800 places from the vocational school are unoccupied.

In Constanța County are the most upset candidates after displaying the results from the computerized distribution, the rate of non -recarted students being 11.1%, the highest in the country.

Also from this county is the candidate who remained unrepared with the highest media in the country. He is a graduate of the “Spectrum” Constanța High School, graduated from the Gymnasium with average 10, the average from the National Assessment being 9.42. The average of admission, although large, was insufficient to be distributed according to the option in the sheet. The good news is that the student was admitted with a scholarship to a top private high school, this being, most likely, the reason why he has not completed more options for the public system, but not all non -repeated students are in the same situation.

According to the statistics of the Constanța County School Inspectorate (IȘJ), only six free seats remained at the high schools in Constanța. Instead, they are in the class of professional education and dual mass and special state education 840 free places.

How do you get students with relatively small environments to catch in the second place places at well-rated high schools

The situation in Constanța is a special one, which can be hardly intuited only by analyzing the data regarding the students to be distributed in the second stage. There are 493 students rejected in stage I, a situation that would seem problematic, especially since almost 80 of them have average. The explanation lies in the large number of places from private high school-408. Private high schools will “absorb” some of the candidates left without a place in public high schools, another important part being already admitted here, but who have tried their powers and distribution and who, as is the case every year, will not give up). This is why the list of free places after the period of file submission does not resemble, and this happens every year, with that of the free places published immediately after the first stage of distribution.

Although the whole process eventually comes to make hundreds of children who want this second chance, everything happens to the detriment of vocational education, which is the only real form of adaptation to the demands of the labor market, says the general school inspector of IȘJ Constanța, Sorin Mihai.

„În Constanța we have a situation that I do not know if it is found in another county. On the one hand we have 408 places on private high school education, on the other we have 840 free places on dual professional and professional education. That is, many places, more than the 493 students who were not admitted in stage I ”, explained Prof. Mihai, for “Adevărul”.

Stock exchanges of 1,000 lei/month that economic agents have no one to give

The head of IȘJ Constanța is disappointed that vocational education does not occupy in the preferences of students and parents the place they would actually deserve. There are so many places reserved for professional and technical education, says the school-general inspector, because IȘJ Constanța respects the proportion of 60% vocational and technical education and 40% theoretical and vocational education when approving the schooling plans.

Other counties may not take into account this legislative provision. However, we will lose professional education classes, although, from my point of view, the professional education classes are the only ones that make a real connection between the school and the need on the labor market, because the economic agents are the ones who ask to create the professional education classes ”, Explica the official IŞJ.

Among the 800 places, several tens are in dual vocational education from the offer of a consortium that offers students a considerable scholarship.

From 53 places on dual vocational education, 37 are on the consortium of the Ovidiu University, through which students receive at least 1,000 lei per month ”, says Sorin Mihai.

Other places are supported by an economic agent from the port of Constanța who has rented for the students who come from the county and who practice here a villa in a resort, where they provide for free accommodation and meals. It also offers equipment of about 2,000 euros/student, plus other benefits.

“C.Hiar deals with these children, but unfortunately everyone wants theoretically and everyone will necessarily high school ”, concludes the head of the County Inspectorate.
