Dorian Popa, who last year was accused of driving under the influence of drugs. Today, the magistrates of the Cornetu Court pronounced the influencer’s sentence.

Following the tests carried out by the police who caught him, they found him positive for cannabis.
The influencer was sentenced to 8 months in prison, but they postponed the application of the sentence for a period of 2 years (term of supervision). The decision is not final, with the possibility of filing an appeal within 10 days, writes Observator.
During the term of supervision, Dorian Popa must comply with the following obligations:
a) to appear at the Ilfov Probation Service, on the dates fixed by it;
b) to receive the visits of the probation counselor appointed with his supervision;
c) to announce, in advance, the change of residence and any travel that exceeds 5 days, as well as the return;
d) to communicate the change of job;
e) to communicate information and documents of a nature to allow the control of his means of existence.
“Draws the defendant’s attention to the consequences of not complying with the supervision measures during the supervision period and/or committing new crimes, respectively the revocation of the postponement of the application of the penalty according to art. 88 C. pen. It obliges the defendant to pay to the state the sum of 1,600 lei representing legal costs advanced by the state, of which 1,500 lei are legal costs from the criminal investigation phase and 100 lei are legal costs from the preliminary and trial chamber phase.
