At the beginning of the Government meeting, the minister announced that, next week, at the latest on Monday, the Framework Plan for high school education will be put into public. He emphasizes that “we have passed the period of debate, to include the various suggestions” and he considers that normally it would be “to end this process once at the beginning”.

“I hope on Friday, but at the latest, I will put in public consultation the framework plans for high school. I end this process once I started it ”David said.

Also, at the latest on Wednesday, the other public approach will be announced, which concerns the universities in the country. According to the approach, the university institutions will have to establish a mission, “on the bottom-up system”.

“At the latest on Wednesday, if not faster, we will publicly announce the other important approach that we had, namely to establish the missions that various universities assume, in a process from bottom to top.

Each university chooses its mission they want, being able to opt for three missions: education, education and research, education and advanced research, and then it will be treated as such.

That is, it will be evaluated through the missions it has engaged. It is a correct approach, honest for society, honest for students, future students and, at the same time, which strengthens (…) universities, because you evaluate them from the prism of the mission they have assumed, not through other criteria.”, Explained the minister

Last but not least, it reminds of the government decision last week, which, although it is “A punctual approach, has a general character

Already big differences begin to appear between countries, although we try to standardize and detail how the structure should look, the content is different ”, said Daniel David, adding that, thus, people have problems when looking for a job in another country, because “I do not know if they have the necessary qualifications ”.

Therefore, through the Government Decision, all the diplomas and certificates that are given in Romania following educational processes, will have the level of qualification, one of the eight levels.

“When you went on the diploma the level of qualification, when you went with the respective diploma in any EU country, no one will show the level of qualification with other diplomas and evidence. This means that access to the labor market is much easier”, Explained the minister.

Last but not least, the minister believes that Romania’s approach will help citizens who want to work in any EU country to integrate much easier in the labor market.
