The DMS Foundation, non-governmental and non-profit organization dedicated to sustainable development and ecological education, officially begins its activity. The initiative launched by the Doroftei family from Brașov enjoys the support of a team of dedicated experts from various fields, including green energy, ecological education and sustainable agriculture.
Each member of the team contributes a unique expertise, but all share the same goal: to make Romania a model of sustainability for the entire region. The foundation aims to design and implement innovative solutions to transform communities and build a better future.
“Each project of the DMS Foundation is designed to have a real and sustainable impact, contributing to the protection of the environment and the well-being of communities. The DMS Foundation is our signal regarding the importance of private initiatives in accelerating the transition to a cleaner environment and a sustainable future”, is the firm message of the founders.
The mission of the DMS Foundation is to implement sustainable solutions to address climate change, promote environmental education and support the development of rural communities in Romania. Through its projects, the Foundation aims to implement renewable energy sources in rural areas and develop ecological farms, thus contributing to the local economy and environmental protection.

For her part, Maria Doroftei, co-founder of the DMS Foundation, said: “This day represents for us, those who are involved in the projects of the DMS Foundation, an extremely important step and, more than that, it is proof of our involvement in the life of the community and the country. Even though the DMS Foundation had not been officially launched, we joined in helping the people affected by the floods in Galati county and allocated, from our own funds, 2 million lei for the purchase of sanitary and construction products, but also for the reconstruction and construction of homes for hard-pressed families. We dedicate our resources and efforts to create sustainable solutions that not only help the environment, but also support local communities by providing new opportunities and resources. We want every project to have a real impact“.
