Researchers at Soochow University in China have found that a certain drink reduces the risk of death in sedentary people. According to them, people who spend long periods of time in a chair, at the office, but also consume coffee, have a 1.58 times lower chance of death, compared to those who do not consume this product, according to Ladbible.
According to the study, caffeine would offer protection against the effects of a sedentary lifestyle, such as diabetes or heart disease, with the effect lasting up to 13 years.
According to the data, people who consumed coffee also had better protection than those who exercised. As for the right amount, two to three cups a day have been found to be most effective.
