The Grand National Lodge of Romania is organizing the 11th edition of the Awards Gala of the Grand National Lodges of Romania on Friday, June 21, at the Romanian Athenaeum. During this event, which takes place starting at 18.00, seven prizes of 10,000 euros each will be awarded.

The event is organized in partnership with the Romanian Academy, the Ministry of Culture and the Babeș Bolyai University from Cluj Napoca, the University of Bucharest, ASE, the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine Bucharest, the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University Iași, the West University of Timișoara, SNSPA, the University “Constantin Brâncusi” National University of Arts Bucharest, “George Enescu” University of Arts Iași, Transilvania University of Brașov, “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu and University of Craiova.
Prizes will be awarded for the following areas:
- Grigore Moisil Prize for Exact Sciences;
- Henri Coandă Award for Applied Sciences;
- Carol Davila Prize for Medicine;
- Eugeniu Carada Award for Economics;
- Nicolae Titulescu Award for Diplomacy and Political Science;
- The Spiru Haret Award for Education, Environment, IT.
“MLNR Awards Gala aims to stimulate and develop knowledge in any field of research, including the social and human sciences, both through fundamental research and through advanced research for the development of complex problems, through the acquisition of new knowledge about phenomena and processes, the formulation and validation of original hypotheses, conceptual models and theories.
The prizes are awarded to all Romanian citizens resident or non-resident on the territory of Romania, regardless of sex, religion or age, masons or laymen, who during the year preceding the awarding of the prizes, have carried out a work, a discovery, invention or innovation, issued a theory, theorem, equation, developed a technique, method, procedure with macro-social impact in one of the 7 award-winning fields or through the exercise of the profession or public dignity have brought important services or benefits to the country“, the press release states.
