The famous Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has joined the thousands of personalities who are present on YouTube. The 39-year-old striker announced on Instagram on Wednesday (August 21) that he had launched his own channel and invited his fans to subscribe, according to Reuters.

“The wait is over. My YouTube channel is finally here! Subscribe and join me on this new journey“, says the related post.

The footballer, who is a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, plays for the Saudi Al-Nassr team.

Within hours of posting his first video, 1.69 million people had subscribed to his channel. At the time of publishing this article, Cristiano Ronaldo already has 5.12 million subscribers.

The Portuguese footballer is followed by 112.5 million internet users on the X platform, 170 million on Facebook and 636 million on Instagram.

Cristiano Ronaldo is preparing for his team’s Thursday game, from the first stage of the Saudi Arabian championship, against Al-Raed.
