Ioana Bulcă was part of the band of the Bucharest National Theater for over 40 years, but she was also a very valuable film actress, collaborating throughout her career with renowned directors of Romanian cinema and interpreting memorable roles: Midia in “”The sign of the virgin ” (1966), Mrs. Stanca, in “Mihai Viteazul” (1970), blonde in “Tonight we dance in the family” (1972), Margareta in “Then I sentenced everyone to death.” (1972), Aristizza in “The rest is silence” (2007, directed by Nae Caranfil) – a role for which it was awarded with the GOPO prize, CA “The best actress of 2008”according to Agerpres.
