On the field, in addition to his protests on the sidelines, he quarreled with the Argentinian Érik Lamela, the footballer of AEK. The Romanian was accused of trying to spit on Lamela! This after the Argentinian allegedly threw a plaster roll at the PAOK technician. This incident was investigated, based on video evidence, by the football forums in Greece. On this occasion, it was also checked whether Lucescu jr really made provocative gestures towards the hosts’ fans.

Unfortunately, Răzvan’s problems were also aggravated because he had a conflict, after the match, with George Kosmas, the vice-president of the AEK Athens club.

Although, at one point, there was even talk of a 6-month suspension for the former Romanian coach, today, the verdict was milder. According to Digi Sport, Lucescu jr received a fine of 7,500 euros, plus a suspension of four matches. As a result, PAOK will be without the head coach on the bench in the games with Heraklion (championship), Aigaleo (cup), Lamia (championship) and Olympiakos (championship). The last meeting represents the biggest loss for Lucescu jr! His team, in contention for the title, is in 2nd place after eight rounds.

PAOK Thessaloniki has 17 points, being tied with the leader Aris Thessaloniki. On 3rd and 4th are AEK Athens (15 points) and Olympiakos (15 points).
