According to them, in February 2025, the chief commissioner Marian Cârcei was stopped by a crew from the road service in the locality because he was running at a speed of 109 km/h, being at the wheel of the service car, but without having the bright and acoustic signals.
“He tried to execute pressure on road police so that they did not draw up the report of finding the contravention and to suspend the right to lead on public roads for a period of 90 days.
The pretext invoked would have been representative of the fact that he was in a “mission”, although he could not present a service order in this regard.”, The trade unionists said.
According to them, the road police did not give up the intimidations.

They also claim that Marian Cârcei is the only one enrolled in the job, although there are over one hundred IPJ Mehedinti officers who met the criteria.
