Built in 1902, Casa Lipatti was one of the first projects of the architect Petre Antonescu, now being a historical monument. The owners want to sell the building for almost a quarter of a million euros, according to Observer News.

The City Hall and the Ministry of Culture have the right of priority to the purchase of Lipatti, but there is no money for it. “Unfortunately, at the moment the Ministry of Culture does not have the necessary funds. The house in which the famous composer and pianist Dinu Lipatti lived could be saved, however, by the City Hall of Sector 1, from which it belongs to administratively.
