Bruce Dickinson, one of the greatest artists in the history of rock, returns to Bucharest on June 3, 2024. The concert will take place at the Roman Arena and is part of the tour to promote the album The Mandrake Project, the artist's first solo material after almost 20 years.

Known worldwide as one of the most important and distinguished heavy metal vocalists of all time, and as the lead singer of the legendary band Iron Maiden, Bruce Dickinson released a new solo album this spring under the auspices of BMG Records. Titled “The Mandrake Project,” the material reunites Bruce Dickinson and producer Roy Z.
The Mandrake Project is Dickinson's seventh solo album and his first in nearly 20 years since 2005's Tyranny Of Souls.
“This album has been a very personal journey for me and I'm extremely proud of it. Together with Roy Z I planned, composed and recorded this album for years and I'm really excited that people will finally be able to listen to it. I'm even more excited at the prospect of going on a world tour with this amazing lineup we've put together to bring the album to life. Our plan is to play as many concerts as possible in as many places as possible, for as many people as possible!”says Bruce Dickinson.
The first single from the new album is “Afterglow of Ragnarok”, a dramatic track as well as an introduction to the music of the album and the captivating story behind The Mandrake Project.
And one of the most beloved Romanian bands will play at the opening of Bruce Dickinson's concert. Beloved rockers from Trooper will take to the stage of the Roman Arenas as special guests on the tour to promote Bruce Dickinson's latest album – The Mandrake Project.
Trooper will share the stage with the artist for the second time in Bucharest, almost 16 years after the concert of the legendary band Iron Maiden at the Cotroceni Stadium.

Bruce Dickinson is best known to the public as the lead singer of the British band Iron Maiden, with whom he began performing in 1981 and who have sold over 100 million albums worldwide. He has also distinguished himself worldwide as an author, airline pilot, presenter, brewer, businessman, sportsman, screenwriter and solo artist.
His first solo album, “Tattooed Millionaire”, was released in May 1990, and the next album, “Balls To Picasso”, appeared four years later (1994). On this second album, Dickinson began to collaborate with the guitarist Roy Z and, with the exception of one material, collaborated on all subsequent solo albums – “Accident Of Birth” (1997), “The Chemical Wedding” (1998) and “Tyranny Of Souls” (2005). of Dickinson's third solo album, “Skunkworks” (1996), the artist performed a concert in occupied and war-torn Bosnia. The soundtrack of the subsequent award-winning documentary “Scream For Me Sarajevo” – a was released as an album.
As well as continuing to tour and record with Iron Maiden, Dickinson found time to release her autobiography in 2017 – 'What Does this Button do' – which hit the Sunday Times bestseller list. There has always been a desire to create another solo music project, and in 2021, Dickinson finally had the opportunity to focus on it. He returned to Roy Z again to work together on some unfinished ideas, which quickly became his seventh studio album, “The Mandrake Project”.
