Asked at Antena 3 CNN about the voltages in the ruling coalition, the minister was categorical in the defense of the USR.

“I tell you relaxed that the problem has not done the USR. The economic situation in which we are today has many causes, but at the USR there is none”, said Radu Miruță, according to Mediafax.

“We understand the proportional responsibility we have”

According to the minister, USR has assumed its political responsibility in proportion to the current situation, although it does not bear the blame for economic problems.

“But we are a political party, we understand the proportional responsibility we have. We have entered this scheme and deliver each on the square“, Said Miruță.

The minister acknowledged that the USR position in this coalition is not a natural one, given the constant criticism that the party has exercised in the past.

“The world will measure us after we do”

USR has been highlighted in public space, constructively criticizing many of the measures of PSD at that time. It is not very natural for USR to stay in this chair ”the minister admitted.

However, Miruță stressed that USR has entered this coalition from responsibility.

“We thought of two aspects. One, the world will measure us after we do, when we stay at the table where PSD is. Not just because we are at the table with PSD”, explained the official.

Regarding the formation of the coalition, the minister stated that the decision was required:

“We arrived in this story because in the country, we, the four parties, five parties with President Nicușor Dan, considered not that we like each other, but that it is not a better version.”
