The most spectacular greenhouse greenhouse in Romania: Tropical forest right in the heart of a city on the Danube

The Botanical Garden in Galați will have the most spectacular greenhouse in the country in terms of exotic plants. Visitors will be able to admire palm trees about 20 meters high, as well as hundreds of other exotic plants.

The greenhouse will have species of cacti from Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, Argentina and Aloe species from Africa and South America. In the vertical body of the greenhouse there will be species of curmal, coconut, papaya and palm trees (China, Japan, Laos, Indonesia), North America (Florida and Colorado), South America (Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Guatemala), Madagascar, Malta and the Canary Islands.

“At the exotic plants greenhouse in the Botanical Garden, we work on the panoramic terrace, arranged at the base of the impressive construction, a place from which the visitors will be able to include with the whole Galațiul.”announced Costel Fotea, president of CJ Galați.

In parallel, the technical space that will ensure the access to the elevator that will carry the visitors to the highest observation point from within 20 meters high, where the crowns of the palm will be admired in all their splendor, is prepared.

Currently, the area in which the elevator foundation will be arranged is arranged, and the elevator will soon be delivered and mounted.

Last but not least, the connections are completed at the thermal, electrical, air conditioning and humidity control, absolutely necessary to create an optimal environment for exotic plants.

“Through this investment of the Galati County Council, the unsightly skeleton in the Botanical Garden will be transformed into the most beautiful and modern exotic plants in the country – a true tropical forest”, with species from Africa and South America. “Costel Fotea said.

In addition, spaces for temporary exhibitions and for educational activities will be arranged.

The greenhouse greenhouse will have an area of ​​approximately 2,500 square meters, of which 1,000 square meters for teaching activities.

The objective will be one of interest to the community, but also for the neighboring counties such as Brăila, Tulcea, Vrance, Vaslui and Buzău.
