The National Assessment Exam for 2nd, 4th and 6th grades comes next year with a novelty: students will receive points for each exercise separately, while the codes related to each subject will disappear, announced the Minister of Education, Ligia Deca.

The Ministry of Education has put into public debate the Methodology for organizing and conducting the national assessments at the end of the 2nd, 4th and 6th grades of the 2024-2025 school year.
The Minister of Education, Ligia Deca, announced that each exercise will have a certain score. In this way, the students will know how well they solved the topics. Until now, for each exercise students received a code for wrong solution, correct solution or partially correct solution. However, parents complained that they could not figure out exactly where their children had gone wrong. This is why such vague wording has been removed.
“In all the discussions with the parents, I was told the difficulty of correlating the codes that were assigned to the answers with the competence level of the children, so, in order to increase the usefulness of the results, we propose this change. There is also the possibility that the points obtained may be equated/associated with qualifications or grades and entered in the catalog, with the consent of the students and parents, so optional”. Ligia Deca announced.

The duration allocated to solving is 30 minutes for each administered test (EN II), respectively 60 minutes for each administered test (EN IV and EN VI).
The tests are evaluated within the educational units by the evaluation commissions established at their level, within no more than seven days from the date of the last test.
The individual results obtained in these evaluations are not displayed/communicated publicly and are not recorded in the class catalog except at the request of the parents.
