On Wednesday, the newly elected MPs had to complete some formalities before receiving their MP IDs. Among those who will represent us in the Chamber of Deputies is a politician investigated by DNA, but also a young woman caught with bullets, last year, in the Parliament.

In the morning, the elected officials went to the reception center in the Parliament to fill in the deputy form and the declaration on their own responsibility that they did not cooperate with the security, according to ProTV News.
After submitting their CVs and declarations of assets and interests, they received their ID cards, voting cards and tablets, as well as a gift.
The new Parliament includes older and newer politicians as well as controversial figures. Among them is Răzvan Mirel Chiriță, who obtained a Bucharest deputy mandate from POT.
In 2023, Chiriță was sent to court by the DNA after, during the pandemic, the company to which he is an associate and administrator received contracts for the purchase of sanitary materials at overvalued prices from the Slatina City Hall.
“What DNA problems?”
Among those who accompanied him to the Parliament on Wednesday was the leader of POT, Anamaria Gavrilă.
“What problems with DNA? What problems?!”, defended Anamaria Gavrilă, when journalists asked her if she thought that Mirel Chiriță would finish his mandate.
Regarding the rumors about the possible invalidation of some POT mandates due to discrepancies between the party’s income and campaign expenses, Gavrila said that “there is no such problem of invalidating our mandates”.
Ariadna Cîrligeanu, 23 years old (the youngest), who won a mandate on the AUR lists, is also part of the new Parliament.
Last year, Ariadna Cîrligeanu was caught at the entrance to the Parliament with four bullets.
The first meeting for the constitution of the new Parliament will take place on Friday.
