The next actor to play James Bond will be in his 30s and could be of any race, according to producer Barbara Broccoli.

In a new interview with the Associated Press, Broccoli talked about what the next 007 movie will be like. The article states that: “It will be a man. It will probably be around 30 years. White is not a given”.
Also, the actor will have to have a contract for at least a decade of films.
Broccoli expects whoever chose to face a similar backlash to that suffered by Daniel Craig, who was initially criticized before his first appearance in “Casino Royale”. She refers to it as “the anti-Daniel Craig bullshit“. “It’s an important decision”she said, writes news.ro.
Her brother and co-producer Michael G Wilson added: “Every time we cast a new actor, the films change. It is the emotion of a new Bond, of a new direction. Each of these people who took on the role offered something new and different.”
Recent rumors have suggested that “Kick-Ass” and “The Fall Guy” actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the frontrunner, with unconfirmed reports claiming that the 33-year-old has already been offered the role.
In 2021, Amazon brought in MGM, which also secured the rights to James Bond. The company’s global head, Jennifer Salke, was asked about the future of the franchise in a recent interview with the Observer.
A lot of ideas came up (about potential actors) that I found interesting,” she said. “I think there’s a lot of different paths we can take… We’re not looking to disrupt the way these wonderful films are made… The global audience will be patient. We don’t want too much time between films, but we’re not worried at the moment.”
Last year, Broccoli confirmed that the films would not become streaming premieres because they are made “for the big screen”.
Craig’s last appearance as 007 in the film “No Time to Die” from 2021 brought in $774 million at the worldwide box office. It remains the third highest grossing film of all time in the UK.
When asked recently who she would choose to take on the role, Craig laughed and said: “I don’t care.”
