Many Romanians choose to spend a fortune on a house with a courtyard, precisely to escape the noises of insensitive neighbors. Sometimes, however, even this does not guarantee them that they will have people with common sense around them who will at least respect the quiet hours.

A woman decided to buy a house in a quiet area of Cluj, all in order to enjoy all the comfort and to be able to rest after difficult days at work and without the fear that noisy neighbors will make her life hell.
But it wasn't to be. This despite the fact that he spent a not inconsiderable amount, as it is known that a house with a courtyard costs enormously in Romania's most expensive real estate market.
The situation in the block, where some neighbors play loud music, make a fuss or let their pets make noise, is repeated even if he has moved to the house. This time, the disturbing noises are not coming from drills that don't take into account the hours of silence or from revelers, but from a neighbor's dog who lives in the house next door.
And because the neighbor does not consider it appropriate to tame his animal, in desperation the woman turned to the Facebook group Advice from lawyers/collaboration lawyers/good lawyers, where she asked for advice.
“Hello! Kindly help me with some advice for a less common but unfortunately very annoying situation. I live in a house (newly built) in Cluj, in a new neighborhood of houses, and the barking of the neighbor's dog bothers us. Those of you who know Cluj, in Voroneț the houses were built relatively close to each other. If we knew, we don't buy. Until then, there is no amicable way or understanding. The barking noise is excessive and obviously disturbing and I want to know if I have a legal way to resolve the situation. I hope to receive useful advice and I don't want off-topic comments”the woman wrote, thanking in advance for understanding.

But in reality, too few found understanding for her problem and made fun of her.
“Move down the block“, “Sell and buy your apartment on the 10th floor”
and “Put earplugs in your ears” or “Two safe options: sell and move or talk to the dog, explain the problem. It's a dog and it's normal to bark not to meow“, were just some of the ironies of the netizens. “Can I take sick leave if someone is sick?”was another message on the same note.
Others developed a little, but still criticized the woman who dared to say that she felt disturbed by the noise of the quadruped.
“A dog is bothering you. It is simple to solve. Imagine that you were not lucky and had no money, that you lived in Bucharest on a boulevard where trams and 4 lanes of cars pass. The barking of the dog is… Vivaldi. When you work and you are tired you sleep without turning back”, answered someone who did not understand that, in fact, the woman did not get an apartment in a block located in a crowded area and gave extra money to buy a house with a yard just to escape of noise.
Others turned to insults: “March to the block, it's simple.“
“Me, yes, what are you doing now! I am dying! Didn't you raise me in the country with the dog in the yard? Good thing the peasant never complained about the dog barking! He liked to hear it! And unlike you, he also liked hearing the rooster at 4 in the morning! He even thanked the rooster for waking him up for his daily work! He liked to hear the chicken and the cow and the pig by the house! Because of you we'll eat insects and if Ursula hears you she'll cut the dogs' vocal cords! Shame! Hide in the woods, but for now get under the bed! Have peace! Sleep well, baddie!”, a netizen got really angry, without thinking that maybe the author of the post has never lived in the country and that people have the right to peace and the law is on their side, even if most of the time it is not applied.
“You have a very serious problem, but not the dog's barking, but yours. Frustration in you breeds monstrosities. So what would you like? To meow? It's a dog and before you buy a house, get to know the neighbors first, but if you don't like it, don't live there. The dog feels the human character!”, someone else discovered his radical activist skills.
“God forbid. We also ended up bothering the animals. Go and live in the forest and have peace! You get used to it after a while,” saw fit to say another lady, probably convinced that the place of animals is in houses and that of people in the forest.
And she was not the only one who believes that people's place is in the forest, and animals can make as much noise as their owners allow. “Sell the house, get one in the woods and no one bothers you anymore. How evil… For a dog”, reacted another person who believes that respect and silence are optional at most.
“Why would I empathize with people?”

We have some acquaintances who had a puppy that barked a lot when they were in the yard. The neighbors, being disturbed by the barking of the dog, filed a complaint with the animal protection. When they came to the puppy's owners, they told them that they had to do something with her to stop barking because she was bothering the neighbors. Then they bought this device that I was telling you about earlier and whenever they left the puppy in the yard they also turned on the device. And look, everyone was happy“, was one of the few stories with a happy ending.
“Buy a high frequency training whistle, it will calm down… don't hurt the dog, he's probably stressed about something too.” was another opinion.
“The only advice I can give is to ask a vet what he thinks is the cause of the excessive barking. Any dog barks, but when it barks excessively the cause must be seen. He may be sick and ignored by his owners, or he may not be fed enough”was another opinion.
“Difficult to solve the problem. And if it ever gets resolved, it won't be amicable. The truth is somehow in the middle, the dog is not to blame either, but that noise is also not ok. Hard” and “Suggest they take him to training or take more care of him”were some of the realistic responses.
Others have run into similar problems and know how disturbing the hysterical barking of some dogs can be amid the indifference of owners who want pets but then leave them unattended.

Total silence day. You don't hear his mouth. Although it is noisy, people pass by on the street. But the night is terror. Although I spoke to the neighbor, he did not take any action. And I don't know if you noticed from the comments: dogs have become more important than man it seems. Disgusting as some think. I know that if you call the police and they come and measure the intensity of the noise caused by the dog's barking, action will be taken. We didn't do it because we suspected that the police here would also laugh at us, but maybe in Cluj they are more fair”, someone else wrote.
