Cătălin Botezatu spoke in an interview for Cancan.ro about his passion for spirituality and self-knowledge. One of the most significant objects, which he wears with sanctity, he received from the Dalai Lama himself.
“I carry a lot of icons with me and I have a lanyard from the Dalai Lama. It's very shabby and looks very bad, but it's from the Dalai Lama and I have to leave it until it breaks. The moment it breaks I will have to burn it and bury it in a plant. I've had it for almost eight years”said Botezatu.
But life is not always all bright for the famous designer. He also shared difficult moments in his life, admitting including the fact that, up to the time of the interview, he had had an unlucky day: “I argued with everyone all day today. I don't want to argue anymore. I had an unlucky day until lunch, after that it became perfect.”
However, Botezatu remains a follower of positivism and self-confidence.

“I'm fine, I'm always preparing fashion shows, events. I'm getting ready to go to Eurovision, not as a singer, because we didn't have anyone to send. I'm going with the official Eurovision sponsor who invites me every year. There will also be Loreen, last year's winner, and I can't wait to meet her”
