The performer from Cluj, Angela Rusu, went through a four-hour surgery to remove a tumor from her right kidney.

“They removed my tumor. It was benign. So it wasn’t cancer or doing chemotherapy, nothing. I made a post because I had a pretty big operation, it was a four hour operation. I went to a private clinic in Cluj. Me, now, because I have problems with my right kidney, it’s very sensitive and I have to be very careful, because I’ve been treated for depression.”said Angela Rusu through a post on social media.
According to her, the doctor suggested her to get rid of the antidepressants that the artist was taking due to postnatal depression.
To deal with the problem of depression, the singer is undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors, because she could go into withdrawal if she stops taking antidepressants suddenly.
“I found out from a very good doctor here, his name is Cristian Grecu Gaboș, he has a clinic in Târgu Mureș. I heard he’s a very good psychiatrist. After the operation, I came to him for a consultation. He told me: I can’t take these medicines from you without you being supervised by doctors.
He told me that if he took them out, I might go into withdrawal. They took ten pills out of me. I’m down to three now. I am being treated to get off my kidney treatment. My dose kept going down so I don’t do something, God forbid, to the kidneys. One more thing, I was prescribed completely wrong antidepressants by other doctors”the artist also told.
It seems that Angela Rusu was also taking 10 antidepressants a day.
