The project launched by Vero Căliman after leaving “Fetita Zurli” behind: “It will inspire children to dream”

After, for 15 years, she was the “Zurli Girl” who brought smiles to children's faces at the phenomenon shows supported by “Gașca Zurli”, Vero Căliman (36 years old) is at the beginning of a new project.

A month after announcing that she was leaving the group founded by Mirela Retegan and after the recent emotional confessions made regarding her withdrawal from “Gașca Zurli”, actress Vero Căliman launched the project “Village Theater”.

“With a heart full of joy, I want to tell you that I spent the World Theater Day in the most appropriate way. I launched a project that I have dreamed of since I was born, with the aim of bringing the children from the village closer to the world of theater, to the stories in the performances and, above all, closer to themselves. When I found out that there is a mayor in Jegălia Commune who wants the same thing for the children, I didn't think twice. Together we set up the project <>. We want to give the children there a different perspective on life. We want to inspire them to read more and become more curious, to make their playground bigger and bigger!”wrote Vero Căliman, on Wednesday, on Instagram and Facebook.

“I will commute twice a week to take <>”

The actress set out to introduce rural children to dramatic art, giving them the chance to be protagonists in the “theatre play”.

“And look, I will commute twice a week to take the Theater to the Village. As I know best, with all my joy and my skill: I know that my story will inspire children to dream even of green horses on the walls. And I want to convey to Mr. Vasile Aurel that these children will certainly remember who was mayor in their village when they were small. In addition to the dance club, football and freestyle wrestling, for three years the little ones have been given musical instruments and participate in brass band competitions. I also listened to them a little today and I can tell you honestly that they moved me deeply. And now, through the <> Project, they will have the chance to learn and practice theater. That's all I can tell you: on June 1, we have a premiere! And if it works out as I think, I'll bring the band to Bucharest for a performance”, the actress also wrote on social networks.

Vero Căliman thanked her followers for their encouragement and support.
