The Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest announces the opening of the registration platform2025.ase.ro and the start of registrations, exclusively online, for admission to the university degree programs, July 2025.
They are invited to generate their personal account on the platform and upload the competition file until Thursday, July 10, 4 pm.
For the academic year 2025-2026, ASE takes the competition 7,789 places, of which 3,130 are financed from the budget; 6,822 places are in frequency education in campus and 967 at a distance and low frequency.
The Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest structures the offer in 35 bachelor’s degree programs, with teaching in Romanian, English, French and German, of which 25 are organized in frequency education, and 10 in the format of distance education and with a reduced frequency, to meet all the needs of the personal development.
The composition of the registration file, which the candidate loads on the platform, in his individual account, is found on the license admission site. Candidates are encouraged to consult this source constantly to keep up to date with all the relevant details.
The content of the admission process differs depending on the bachelor’s degree programs for which they are opting.
For 10 of the ASE faculties, the admission contest consists of writing a motivational essay, supporting a language competence test (in the case of programs with a foreign language) and calculating the general admission. The latter is determined by a weighted average between the average obtained at the baccalaureate exam (70%) and the average of the years of high school (30%).
Candidates wishing to enroll in the university degree programs of the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics (CSIE) and the Faculty of Law will also take a written exam, as part of the admission process. In CSIE, this exam consists of a grid test in mathematical discipline, and at the Faculty of Law-in a grid test with questions from two fundamental disciplines: Romanian and economy.
Candidates who choose to participate in the admission contest for these two faculties have the opportunity to include, in the enrollment process, options and for other bachelor’s degree programs, offered by ASE, to have access, depending on the results, to several options to become students at ASE. The details regarding the content and structure of the tests/exams are available on the official website of the University.
In the form of education with frequency, the registration fee is 150 lei. The first two options include this fee. Candidates who want to opt for more than two options will pay, in addition, 50 lei for each option expressed.
In distance and reduced education the registration fee is unique, of 150 lei, regardless of the number of options formulated by the candidate.
In order to support them in making the best informed choices, the candidates have the educational plans and the discipline sheets, related to each study program. These documents detail the curricular structure, providing a clear image on the subjects studied during the license years. Thus, future students can understand early the educational profile of the targeted programs, facilitating a correct decision according to their professional interests and objectives.
ASE offers its candidates, over the entire period of the admission contest, a call center operating from Monday to Friday, between 9.00 and 15.30. Here, ASE students, with joy and patience, with the youthful desire to help, provide an answer to all the questions of the candidates regarding the admission process. Also, the candidates have the Facebook group managed by ASE students, where they can obtain useful information about the admission process, student life, accommodation options and other facilities offered by the University.

Also, ASE provides, through its institutional site www.ase.ro, a chatbot, for quick and efficient access to the essential information regarding the admission process, but also to allow the candidates to find out additional details about the University’s activities and resources.
In support of academic performance and professional development, our university offers students the opportunity to carry out international study mobility, for one or two semesters, within prestigious higher education institutions, through the Erasmus scholarship program. Also, ASE supports the educational course of students through a wide range of scholarships, including excellence, performance, special and social scholarships, meant to support academic and professional development, depending on the individual achievements and needs of each student. The value of the granted scholarships varies according to their type, being between 900 lei and 3,300 lei a month.
In completing the academic offer, ASE supports students from the province, giving them the opportunity to stay in modern homes, about 5000 places, properly equipped and located in central areas of Bucharest, near the faculties and means of transport. Students have available university canteens that offer daily a varied menu, at affordable prices. Candidates have the opportunity to visit the university campus virtually.
