A spa center will be built in the city of Techirghiol, Constanța county, on the site of a former restaurant. The investment will be administered by the Romanian Patriarchate, the mayor of the locality announced.

“I have the pleasure of announcing that we have signed the building permit for a very important new investment: building a new spa recovery center in Techirghiol. The National Investment Company (CNI) awarded the contract for the construction of a spa recovery center in the city of Techirghiol ”said the mayor of Techirghiol, Iulian Constantin Soceanu, on Facebook.
After the investment is completed, the CNI will teach the new headquarters to the Romanian Patriarchate. The new spa recovery center will be built on the site of the former famous restaurant- “Breaking dawn”, the project keeping the architectural elements of the former restaurant.
According to the mayor, the estimated initial value of the contract was 55,683,748 lei, excluding VAT, but the awarded contract has a value of 48,987,814.63 lei, excluding VAT.
“This ambitious project has as main objective the achievement of a new modern building, located in the central area of the city. The center will include spaces dedicated to accommodation activities, spa treatment, as well as food preparation and serving, thus offering complete services to both inhabitants and tourists. Through this investment, we continue to develop the city of Techirghiol and strengthen its reputation as a top spa destination ”, the mayor said.
The investment is financed through the national program of constructions of public or social interest.
