Also, households must be connected to running water and sewerage through a centralized distribution system, shelters for raising animals in the courts of private persons can accommodate at most six large animals, such as pigs, cows, horses and at most 50 birds, according to Antena 3.

Also, the elbow or stable should be located at least 10m from the nearest neighboring dwelling and is exploited so as not to produce environmental pollution and risk for the health of the neighbors, with the obligation to comply with the biosecurity conditions.

In the households where the connections to the centralized water and sewerage system are provided, the animal shelters are also located at least 10m from the nearest neighboring dwelling. However, the number of animals increases as two horses, five cows, 15 sheep or goats, five pigs and at most 50 birds.

Those who have large birds of birds with over 5000 heads and industrial poultry complexes must keep a distance of 1,000 m for smaller farms are shorter.

A distance of 1.5 km must also consider those with pig farms of over 5,000 heads. And in the case of these animals the distance decreases in proportion to their number.

In August, new rules were imposed on the breeding of pigs and birds, and the EU states have 22 months from that date for the transposition of measures into national law.

The updated norms will make the stricter emission limit values, impose electronic authorization, reduce administrative costs and tighten the conditions regarding the granting of derogations.

They will also introduce more disuos (the worst violations can be sanctioned with fines of at least 3% of the EU annual turnover) and more skills for the competent authorities to suspend the functioning of non -compliant installations.

Including metal exploitation and large -scale battery manufacture will reduce pollution from these sectors, thus contributing to improving public acceptance and reducing investment risks.
