“Next, customers are fascinated by the beauties of Greece. Many are looking for all-inclusive packages for this destination, as was the case in past years. Greece continues to be the preferred destination for Romanians. I think that a lot of people also go to Bulgaria, because there are more advantageous prices, but many of them do not use the help of agencies to spend their holidays in the neighboring country. Spain is a destination that has been gaining ground in recent years. Valencia has become a favorite area for our customers, as there are many quieter, more secluded resorts, but they can also enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city. At the same time, there are many customers who opt for Cyprus, another destination that has become common for Romanians. And Italy has entered the preferences of our customers, managing to attract more and more followers not only through the beaches they have but also through their culture, through tourist attractions“, added the travel agent.
The departures of Romanian visitors abroad, registered at the border points, were in the first five months of the year 7.271 million people, an increase of 20.2% compared to the period 1.1 – 31.5.2022, according to the data of the National Institute of Statistics (INS ).
