Actor Victor Rebengiuc announced, almost three years after the premiere that he will no longer interpret the role of André in the show “Father”, mounted at the “Bulandra” Theater.

“Goodbye, Andre!”, Wrote Victor Rebengiuc on Friday on Facebook. Thus, the actor announces the end of an important stage of his career. The Bulandra Theater confirmed this: “With the same dignity and elegance with which he played, for over 70 years, On the Bulandra stage, Master Victor Rebengiuc He chose, almost three years after the premiere, to separate from the character André, from the show “Father””.

An internationally awarded and appreciated text
The show “Father”, written by Florian Zeller and directed in Bulandra by Cristi Juncu, was translated into Romanian by Carmen Iernilă, and Raluca Aprodu made the adaptation for the scene. The song was distinguished, in 2014, with the Molière Prize for the best piece and was nominated, in 2016, at the prestigious Tony and Olivier awards.
