While Lavinia Vlad continues to recover in a hospital in Belgium, his sister is insistently demanding the images from the Salon at the Arşi Center and describes the progress made by it, as well as the traumas left from the hospitalization in Romania.

On Wednesday, Alina Alexandru, the sister of the patient who contracted nosocomial infections, including Candida Auris, during the time she was admitted to the Big Center of Floreasca Hospital, posted an open letter to the medical unit manager, Andrei Bogdan Zidaru. The woman reminds him that she made a request to make available to the family the video recordings in the salon where Lavinia was admitted, to which she received no answer.
“I consider these images to be extremely important for the control body … Do you not want, Mr. Manager, to see which of the employees have refused to respect the right to life of a patient? … Do you want to see how a patient is crying in your hospital and can not even wipe away his tears?” she asks rhetorically.
What is the current condition of the patient
Lavinia Vlad, 37 years old, the mother of two children, arrived at Floreasca Hospital with burns on 70% of the body surface after saving her children from a fire. Instead of finding support and optimal treatment conditions, he has contracted several nosocomial infections, including Candida Auris, his sister said in several Facebook posts.
After 53 days spent at the Big Arși Center, the family managed, with the help of donations, to transfer it to a hospital in Belgium, where he receives specialized and “human” care.
Moved on an armchair with a robot
Alina Alexandru, tells in a Facebook post that on day 74, Lavinia managed, with the help of a robot, to be moved from bed to an armchair.
“The goal was to help him take steps towards the moment he could, with the help of the kinetotherapist, get up on the edge of the bed,” she explains.
The woman emphasizes the major differences between the treatment in Belgium and the traumatic experience in Romania.
“She was not set to stand up with the blood from the unoperated wounds, she was not allowed to scream in pain and faint. An existing robot in her reserve made this move possible,” she writes.
Even though Lavinia cried all morning for fear of pain, remembering the sufferings lived in Floreasca, the experience in Belgium was different: it resisted 50 minutes on the armchair, although initially an interval of only 15 minutes had been established.
“She was very pleased that she was no longer a prisoner on a hospital bed. She is just waiting for the next move to the armchair.” her sister told.
Unanswered questions
Currently, Lavinia wears compressive bandages on her arms, while at the Romanian hospital she was left with the wounds discovered.
“It remains a mystery why here wears compressive and bandages, but in the hospital in Romania it was left discovered, with the wounds not covered.
Also a mystery remains that she manages to recover without the severe pain that accompanied her 7 weeks, before her transfer here.
He is still a fever. The risk of a septic shock did not leave it, but its general condition has improved and gave up the nasal probe.
Small, but extremely important steps, for healing ”, notes Alina Alexandru.
Finally, she talks about and victims of the explosion from Letea Veche, who, after the scandal at Floreasca Hospital related to the Clamidia Auris focal, will be transferred abroad.
“He saddened her to read the accident today (August 12 – no) and about the 4 victims. Instead, he was pleased to read that MS will give them the chance not to live the experience of it on the way to healing and will be transferred immediately to centers where healing was not at the end of a painful road.
We want the family/families hard to try at this time, power, hope and speedy recovery! We want to hear only good news from them too! ”,, Alina Alexandru ended her post.
