Tired of the gloomy weather in the country and the cold, many Romanians dream of a vacation with sun, beach and swimming, even in the coldest month of the year. The good news is that such destinations also exist just a few hours’ flight away, without having to cross half the globe.

More and more Romanians are reorienting towards holidays with the sun, even if we are in the middle of winter. It is also the case of a young woman who wanted to know where she could spend her winter vacation without freezing, and for this she asked for advice on a Facebook group dedicated to vacations done on their own, without agencies.
“Good evening, has anyone been on vacation in January in warm countries? If so, in which countries? I would like it to be warm, at least 25°, with the possibility of sunbathing“, the young woman wrote.
Her post did not go unnoticed and received numerous messages and suggestions from netizens. Among these possible destinations, many are only a few hours flight from Romania and are also affordable, in many cases being much cheaper than the winter resorts in Romania.
“12 months of sun and beach”
The island of “eternal spring”, Tenerife, was among the recommendations. “Tenerife. 12 months of sun and beach”someone wrote to him. “Dubai,” someone else simply wrote. “You can have surprises with Dubai in January! It can also be a jacket”someone retorted. “Abu Dhabi, Dominican, Mexico, Seychelles Africa, Canary Islands in the south. And because several Internet users also asked for other tips and wanted to know what the prices would be during this period, the young woman returned with new details. “Do you mean Tenerife? But I prepared everything since August, because you can find the cheapest flights at least 2 months before”were her tips.
