2025 nursery vouchers. What are they and who benefits from them
Create vouchers are valuable tickets that are granted monthly, to employees who do not benefit from the leave and allowance granted for the raising of the child up to 2 years old, respectively up to 3 years in the case of disabled child. The nursery vouchers aim to partially or completely cover the fees of nursery or early public or private pre-preschool education services, organized according to the law or bone that exercise their profession according to Law no. 167/2017.
The tickets are granted to employees of the private and state system. They are granted, upon request, to one of the parents or the tutor to whom the child was entrusted for growth. These value vouchers are only available in electronic format and can be used exclusively for paying taxes at the child’s nursery.
The nursery vouchers are distributed to the employees, monthly, for each of their natural children, including for each adopted child, as well as for those who have been instituted. The professional maternal assistants or the persons to whom the child is hosted and for which the measure of emergency placement is instituted.
What is the value of nursery vouchers in 2025
The value of the nursery vouchers will increase from April 1, 2025 from the amount of 660 lei to 670 lei. Last year their value increased twice. In April 2024 the nursery vouchers reached the amount of 640 lei, and at the beginning of October the value increased by another 20 lei. The value of the nursery vouchers is accumulated with the state allowance for children and with the insertion incentive that is granted when resuming the activity.
How are these vouchers awarded
These amounts of money are not collected by parents and used at what nursery they want or offered to any bone they contract. The law requires that the providers of these services have contracts concluded with the issuing units of the nursery vouchers. The law says that “Employers have the obligation to inform the employees about the nurses/entities assimilated to them with which the issuing units of the nursery vouchers have concluded service contracts “. At the same time,” the issuing units of the nursery tickets request from the employers the identification data of the nurseries/entities assimilated to them in which the employees have the employees in which they have the employment.
The contract between the issuer of valuable tickets and the nursery or the assimilated entity can only be concluded if the latter has legal personality or with the legal person in which the nursery/entity assimilated to it is organized.
2025 nursery vouchers. What documents do you need to file
In order to receive nursery vouchers, employees need to submit more documents to the file:
- Request for granting the nursery ticket;
- the supporting act issued by the nursery/entity assimilated to which the child is registered; It is usually issued by the nursery/assimilated entity, at the request of the parent/tutor who has registered the child; Employers, together with legally constituted trade union organizations or with employees’ representatives, as the case may be, can determine that the request is addressed by the employer, based on the nominal situation of the employees who have children registered at the assimilated nursery/entity;
- documents attesting the quality of parent, respectively the birth certificate of the child, in the case of natural parents, or the judicial decision to approve the adoption, in the case of the adopted child;
- documents attesting the quality of tutor, respectively the court decision establishing the guardianship or, as the case may be, the disposition of the guardianship authority;
- Declaration on their own responsibility that the other parent or, as the case may be, the tutor does not benefit from nursery vouchers, leave and monthly allowance for raising the child up to 2 years old, respectively up to 3 years, in the case of the disabled child, provided by GEO no. 111/2010;
- Other documents requested by the employer, as the case may be, according to the internal regulation, suitable for law.
