The written tests of the autumn BAC 2025 start on Monday. Over 30,000 candidates enrolled to take the exam

On Monday, August 11, 2025, the written samples of the second session of the 2025 Baccalaureate begin. At the level of the whole country are expected to suffer the written tests over 30,200 candidates. The topics will be published on the ministry’s website every day.

The candidates who were rejected at the previous sessions of the baccalaureate exam and registered to take the samples again are expected, starting Monday, August 11, 2025, in the exam rooms.

The first sample – her test), which is held on Monday, August 11, is the one in Romanian language and literature. Access to the room is allowed until 8.30, based on a valid identity card, the sample to start at 9.00.

The results before the appeals will be displayed on Monday, August 18, 2025, until 12.00, and between 14.00 and 18.00, the candidates will be able to submit requests to view the written works. I can view the work before the appeals, but I can also file an appeal without visualizing the work.

And on August 19 and 20, the works can be visualized and appeals can be submitted, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Research announce.

The final results will be displayed on August 26, 2025.

List of prohibited objects in the examination room

The candidates will have, for each written test, three hours working time for drafting a written work/solving the topics, time calculated from the moment the distribution of the subjects in the examination room has been concluded.

Candidates are not allowed in the exam room with backpacks, backpacks, bags, purses, etc. It is not allowed to access with electronic means of calculation, information or communication storage (memory sticks, telephones, tablets, etc.) and with manuals, dictionaries, notes, notes, etc.

“At the same time, the candidates are forbidden to communicate with each other or with the outside, to transmit or change between them works, sibs, notes or other materials that could be used to solve the subjects, for communication inside or with the outside,” The ministry representatives also convey.

Candidates surprised in the above situations will be eliminated from the exam, whether or not they have used the objects found on them, and at the next two sessions of the exam they can no longer participate.

The examination rooms are supervised audio-video during the samples.

The subjects, published every day of written test

As with the first session of the 2025 baccalaureate, the topics that the candidates had to solve and the scales used for evaluation will be published on the day of each written test, at 15.00, on the website Subject.edu.ro.

Candidates who cumulatively fulfill two conditions are declared “promoted”: they have supported all the competences assessment samples, supported all the written tests (being noted with at least 5 for each of them) and obtained at least the average 6 (based on the notes received in the written tests).

At the level of the whole country, over 30,200 graduates are expected to support the written tests. Of these, over 18,200 candidates come from the current promotion, and about 12,000 candidates – from previous promotions. They will take the full exam or, depending on the results obtained in the previous sessions and recognized as such, only the unpromoted evidence.
