Tomorrow begins the first written test of the Fall 2024 Baccalaureate: the one in Romanian Language and Literature, a test structured in three distinct parts.

Baccalaureate 2024, autumn session. The structure of the written test in Romanian
Subject I it is composed of two sub-points and involves understanding a text at first sight, and based on it solving a few requirements. In subsection A, students will receive 5 requirements related to the received fragment, and in subsection B they will have to write an argumentative text starting from a certain idea or the theme of the respective text.
The second subject it consists of a text at first glance, and based on it candidates will receive a requirement such as: highlighting two or more features of a literary trend, characterizing a character, mentioning the features of a certain literary species, explaining the role of verb tenses and moods encountered in the text, etc.
The third subject aims at writing an essay based on the studied works belonging to the canonical authors mentioned in the exam syllabus.
Students will have only two objects on them
When entering the exam, students will have a pen with blue ink or paste on them. The paper used is only the one distributed in the exam rooms. Also, for identification, candidates will have a valid ID on them. It is not allowed to enter the exam rooms with: textbooks, dictionaries, notes, notes, etc., which could be used to solve the subjects, nor with mobile phones or any electronic means of calculation/communication. Violation of the provisions regarding the introduction of prohibited materials into the exam rooms leads to the elimination of the candidate, regardless of whether the said materials were or were not used.
Conducting the exam, step by step
- Candidates will be seated in the benches one by one, in alphabetical order.
- In the time interval 8:30 – 9:00, the students will be registered, and the supervisors will explain to them how to conduct the test.
- Candidates will be informed how to fill in the personal data on the exam sheet, how to anonymize the papers and how the pages will be numbered.
- The numbering is done with Arabic numerals, at the bottom of the page, in the right corner, indicating the current page and the total number of pages, for example in the form 3/5.
- At 9:00, the exam begins, but after the subjects have been distributed.

The display of the first results will take place on August 26 (until 12:00), and appeals can be submitted between 12:00 and 18:00 on the same day. The final results will be announced on August 30, according to the Ministry of Education.
