On social networks and in the press, the scandal between Marina Almasan and Georgica Cornu moved to court, after the star hired a renowned lawyer and wants to ask for a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend.

The well-known TV presenter, now 58 years old, announced in June that she decided to break the relationship she had for 12 years with Timișoara businessman Georgica Cornu. He, however, continues to insist with phone calls and even to watch her house. For this reason, the TVR star hired the well-known lawyer Adrian Cuculis, who on Friday, July 26, will file a request to obtain a restraining order against the presenter’s ex-boyfriend. He is accused of blackmail and of allegedly monitoring the TVR star’s home.
“As promised, I refuse any further public appearance on this subject. Since June, I have stated my point of view, I no longer want to fuel a scandal that I did not want”, said Marina Almășan for Click!, even while lawyer Cuculis was submitting the request to obtain the restraining order.
The one who gave more details was the lawyer Adrian Cuculis, who stated that the businessman continued to call Marina Almășan from several different phone numbers and that he will bring witnesses to the court who know the real situation. He says of his client that she is subjected to psychological aggression that approaches blackmail.
“Our statement is very clear. From our point of view, Marina Almașan is subjected to stress and psychological aggression that almost reached the level of blackmail.
We are going to submit a request to the court through which we will request the issuance of a protection order, considering that the former concubine, Georgică Cornu, called her from at least 30 distinct phone numbers. And even monitored his home.
We will call to court for hearing including close friends who know their actual situation. And obviously we’re going to administer probation so that we can get an order of protection so that this nightmare of the Navy will stop going forward.” the lawyer stated.
