Two people died and several were injured in serious accidents in Brăila and Harghita

Two people died and several were injured, Sunday evening, in a road accident on DN 2B, in Brăila county, the Infotraffic Center of the Romanian Police announces. Four people were injured, including two children, in a road accident on Sunday evening on DN 11 B.

“On DN 2B, between the localities of Silistraru and Lacul Sărat, Brăila county, road traffic is stopped in both directions, as a result of an accident between two cars, resulting in multiple victims. Two people died”it is stated in a press release from the Infotraffic Centre, writes Agerpres.

According to the same source, other people were injured and received medical attention on the spot, before being transported to the hospital. Road traffic was diverted to detour routes.

Another accident occurred in Harghita county. Four people were injured, including two children, in a road accident on Sunday evening on DN 11 B, in the commune of Plăieşii de Jos, in which two cars were involved, the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Harghita informed .

According to the quoted source, the victims were medically evaluated on the spot, and later they were transported to the hospital.

“Two crews from the Miercurea Ciuc Detachment went to the scene of the event, with a special fire truck and an SMURD ambulance, as well as two SAJ crews. As a result of the accident, there were four victims, two adults and two minors, aged 6 and 9 years, which were evaluated by medical teams, later picked up and transported to the hospital”transmitted ISU Harghita.
